Evergreen IT Solutions is an IT hardware recycling provider that strives to protect the environment by properly recycling electronics under our R2v3 Responsible Recycling, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications.
We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative & Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. This position serves as the first point of contact for our customers and leads the front desk reception for our Fremont headquarters. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who has a passion for helping people, delivering excellent customer service, and representing our company in a professional and positive manner.
Responsibilities
- Lead the front desk reception and serve as the first point of contact for customers, visitors, and incoming communications.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Respond to customer inquiries received through phone, email, website forms, and online chat.
- Help guide new customers through the onboarding process and coordinate service requests.
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate customer records.
- Support daily office operations and administrative tasks.
- Communicate with customers and team members to ensure requests are completed successfully.
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive experience for every customer.
- Maintain consistent phone coverage during business hours and ensure timely responses to customer inquiries.
Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and Google Drive.
- Comfortable learning and utilizing business software and online systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Positive attitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, receptionist, administrative support, client success, or office coordination roles.
- Experience answering business phone lines and managing customer communications.
- Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot is a plus.
