Job Description: Customer Service Representative (HVAC & Plumbing)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our HVAC and plumbing team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for customers, handling calls, scheduling, and service requests with professionalism and efficiency. A strong customer service background—especially in home services—is preferred, and prior experience with Jobber or similar platforms is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

· Answer and route incoming phone calls in a friendly, professional manner.

· Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and text.

· Communicate clearly with customers and field technician to ensure seamless operations and high customer satisfaction.

· Coordinate with Operations Manager to dispatch technicians, schedule service appointments and update job statuses in Jobber.

· Problem-solve scheduling conflicts and adjust assignments dynamically throughout the day

· Compete work orders, return customer calls, and respond to customer issues and complaints.

· Maintain customer records, job status and documentation, billing support, and prepare/review purchase orders.

· Follow up with customers for service feedback and outstanding estimates or payments.

· Assist with office tasks such as filing and data entry.

· Support management with administrative duties and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience with a minimum of two years in customer service or administrative support, ideally in an HVAC, plumbing, or home service environment.

· Familiarity with Jobber or comparable field management software a plus.

· Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.

· Professional phone manner and attention to detail.

· Competence with basic computer programs (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, etc.).

· High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in office administration is a plus.

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (some flexibility may be required for seasonal workloads).

Compensation:
Competitive $23.00-$25.00 hourly wage or salary based on experience, with opportunities for growth.
