Customer Service Representative (lawn care/ Pest Control)

Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Position Overview

Pine Valley Turf Management is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Customer Service Representative to serve as the first point of contact for both existing and prospective clients. This role plays a key part in shaping the customer experience and directly contributes to client satisfaction, retention, and overall company success.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and processes information quickly and accurately—all while maintaining a professional, friendly, and solution‑oriented demeanor.

Industry experience is preferred.

Work Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • No weekends

Compensation

  • $18–$22 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and customer inquiries
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous assistance to clients
  • Schedule services, process requests, and update customer accounts efficiently
  • Clearly communicate service details, pricing, and company policies
  • Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary
  • Maintain accurate records within customer management systems
  • Coordinate with field technicians and management to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Support general administrative tasks to assist daily operations

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong multitasking abilities with the capacity to process information quickly and accurately
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution‑oriented in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with computers, phone systems, and customer management software
  • Dependable, punctual, and team‑oriented

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous customer service or office experience (landscaping, lawn care, or service industry experience a plus)
  • Familiarity with scheduling systems or CRM software
  • Ability to manage high call volumes efficiently

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain seated at a desk and work at a computer for extended periods
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, phone operation, and data entry
  • Ability to speak clearly and listen effectively during phone conversations
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching to retrieve files or office supplies
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally (e.g., office materials, small packages)
  • Reliable attendance and the ability to maintain a consistent work schedule
