Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Customer Service Representative to join our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling transportation services for clients, ensuring timely and safe transportation to medical appointments, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires working Tuesday-Saturday 11:00am -7:00 pm
Key Responsibilities:
Communication and Coordination: Handle incoming calls and inquiries from clients, healthcare providers, and drivers. Communicate effectively to coordinate transportation schedules and respond to service requests.
Scheduling and Dispatching: Schedule and dispatch vehicles and drivers for non-emergency medical trips. Monitor ongoing trips to ensure on-time service and address any delays or issues.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of transportation schedules, client details, and driver information. Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare laws and transportation regulations.
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve client complaints and concerns promptly. Provide solutions for transportation challenges and adjust schedules as necessary.
Customer Service: Deliver high-quality customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and building strong relationships with healthcare providers and clients.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all transportation services comply with safety standards and legal requirements. Stay informed about changes in healthcare transportation regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a customer service representative or relevant role in transportation or healthcare services.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Understanding of NEMT services and healthcare transportation regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
Pay Range: $18-$22
Employment Type: Full-Time
Open Shifts: Tue-Sat Closing Shift, 11am-7pm
