Customer Service Representative (Order Processing & Logistics)

This role focuses on managing customer orders, responding to sales emails and phone calls, entering orders into our ERP system, and coordinating LTL freight shipments. Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support our order processing, customer communication, and coordination of LTL freight shipments for wholesale plant orders.

This position plays an important role in keeping customer orders organized and moving efficiently from order placement to shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Monitor and manage the company sales email inbox, responding to customer inquiries and order requests.

- Answer and manage the sales phone line, assisting customers with placing orders and answering questions.

- Perform accurate order entry by inputting customer orders into the company ERP system.

- Send order confirmations and verify order details with customers.

- Coordinate outbound shipments by contacting LTL freight carriers to secure truck space in a timely manner.

- Prioritize and triage incoming orders, including same-day orders and advance scheduled orders.

- Work closely with internal teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on schedule.

- Maintain strong customer communication and service with wholesale clients.

Qualifications

- Experience in customer service, order processing, administrative support, or inside sales support.

- Strong ability to multitask and manage a high volume of emails and phone communication.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- High attention to detail when entering and confirming orders.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to stay organized and focused during busy periods.

Preferred Experience

- Order entry or ERP system experience.

- Experience coordinating freight or logistics.

- Familiarity with LTL shipping carriers.

- Experience supporting wholesale or distribution operations.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
