The Customer Service Representative assists patients in meeting their financial obligation with DCMC. Completes follow-up activity for accounts with an insurance balance; Calls patients to perform collections on their self-pay balance; Assists incoming callers regarding their accounts.
Minimum Education Required: Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum Related Years of Experience (per minimum education) Required: Two years’ healthcare experience preferred; One-year related experience required.
Credential/Licensure Required: Certified Application Counselor within one year of employment.
Skills Required: Excellent Customer Service skills; Strong communication skills; Ability to analyze issues and solve them creatively; Ability to handle multiple priorities. Epic experience preferred.
Shift: Working 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday.
