Customer Service Representative/Receptionist

Overview
St. Pete Paper Company is a corrugated box manufacturer looking for a customer service representative / receptionist in Palmetto. English is a must.

Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, must be dependable. General computer knowledge; email/word/excel required.

Must pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and clients warmly, providing professional and courteous reception service.
  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly using proper phone etiquette; direct calls to appropriate departments or personnel.
  • Assist customers with inquiries, product information, or service requests via phone or in person.
  • Perform order entry, prepare and issue quotes, invoicing.
  • Support outbound calling efforts to follow up with clients or promote services, enhancing customer engagement.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools to prepare reports, correspondence, and other documentation as needed.
  • Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a strong plus for serving diverse clients.
  • Proven experience in customer support, call center roles, or front desk reception is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data entry.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional interpersonal skills to foster positive interactions.
  • Outbound calling experience and sales aptitude are advantageous for engaging clients effectively.

  • Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent
  • At least 1 year experience in front desk receptionist/customer service
  • Two or more years of experience with MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Day shift 8:00 am to 4:30pm

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
