Job Summary

At Scoop Wholefoods, we are passionate about sustainability, healthy living, and creating an exceptional customer experience. As a Customer Service & Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring that every customer enjoys a welcoming, engaging, and smooth shopping experience in our eco-friendly bulk retail store.

You will support daily store operations including assisting customers, handling cashier duties, maintaining store cleanliness, restocking products, and promoting Scoop’s mission of conscious and healthy living.

This role also includes a performance-based bonus structure, rewarding excellent customer service, sales performance, and contribution to our store values.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries and recommendations
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system (cash, card, refunds, receipts)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area and throughout the store
• Restock shelves, refill bulk products, and ensure items are correctly labeled and priced
• Support product displays, merchandising, and stock arrangement
• Assist with non-food returns and exchanges smoothly and professionally
• Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance customer purchases
• Collect customer feedback and report concerns to the Store Manager
• Follow health, safety, hygiene, and store protocols at all times
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily sales and service targets

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in retail, customer service, or F&B store environments
• Strong communication skills and fluent English (additional languages are a plus)
• Friendly, proactive, and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
• Comfortable standing for extended periods during shifts
• Must be physically fit and comfortable lifting and carrying stock (up to 20–25kg) as part of daily store operations
