This position combines customer service, sales support, graphic design, order processing, and light bookkeeping responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in the printing and packaging industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to be independent and problem solving.

Position Overview

The Customer Service, Sales Specialist serves as a key point of contact for customers while supporting sales, creating artwork, processing orders, and assisting with administrative functions. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite for light graphic design projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions
• Assist customers with product inquiries, quotes, pricing, and order placement
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Recreate logos and artwork when necessary to meet production requirements
• Create digital mockups and proofs for customer approval on packaging, bags, boxes, labels, promotional products, and printed materials
• Prepare print-ready files according to production specifications
• Review customer artwork for quality, accuracy, sizing, bleeds, and print compatibility
• Coordinate customer projects from concept through production
• Follow up with customers regarding artwork approvals, revisions, and project timelines
• Manage billing and bookkeeping of customers and vendors
• Support sales activities and maintain strong customer relationships
• Enter and manage customer and order information in company systems
• Assist with invoicing, and administrative tasks using QuickBooks
• Work closely with production staff to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule
• Maintain organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently

Qualifications Required

• Graphic design experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of print production requirements and file setup
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and phone skills
• Comfortable using computers, email, and business software
• Understanding using AI technology
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines
• Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented

Preferred

• Experience in the printing, packaging, promotional products, or signage industry
• QuickBooks experience
• Order processing experience
• Sales support or inside sales experience
• Knowledge of packaging specifications and print manufacturing processes
• Experience managing customer projects from artwork approval through production
• Bonus if able to use website software such as Wix

Attendance & Transportation Requirements

This is an in-person position only. Remote and hybrid work options are not available.

Candidates must have reliable transportation to and from work and maintain dependable attendance. Punctuality and consistency are essential for success in this role.
