Job Overview

Our certified technicians specialise in providing top-tier heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions, from central air units to advanced indoor air quality systems. We are seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial to our operation, as you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, ensuring they receive the exceptional service our company is known for. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a passion for helping people and a talent for organisation.
Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inbound calls, emails, and enquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
* Efficiently schedule service appointments, maintenance visits, and installations for our team of technicians.
* Provide accurate information to customers regarding our services, products, and pricing.
* Address and resolve customer issues or complaints promptly, escalating complex cases to the appropriate manager when necessary.
* Maintain and update customer information accurately in our company database.
* Liaise with technicians and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and communication.
* Perform follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction after a service has been completed.
* Carry out general administrative duties to support the office and service team.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a customer-facing role, such as customer service, reception, or administration.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment.
* A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in using computers and standard office software; experience with CRM or scheduling systems is an advantage.
* A positive, problem-solving attitude and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Previous experience in the HVAC, plumbing, or a related trade industry is highly desirable but not essential.
