Customer Service Specialist

Our Opportunity:

Optimus GPS Tracking is a technology service provider is now seeking Full-Time motivated and pleasant Customer Service Specialists to join our team in Sunrise, FL.

The right candidate will have a friendly personality, a desire to engage in meaningful conversation, the ability to think critically and on-their-feet in the moment, advanced computer and phone skills, and a passion for genuinely helping others.

What You'll Do:

  • Engage directly with customers over the phone and computer that need support for their devices.
  • Communication with customers will be by phone, email, chat and ticketing systems. It will sometimes require outbound follow-up, sending an email, or other forms of communication.
  • Research and problem-solve to determine appropriate solutions for the customer and follow-up as needed to resolve issues.
  • Operate with understanding, active listening, patience, empathy and kindness to customers.
  • Go above and beyond for our customers.
  • We are not looking for script-readers – we're searching for those who can engage with our customers and think critically to help customers find the right products, set up their accounts, track down orders and fix issues they are having.
  • This position is meant to be full time in the office Monday-Friday 8am-4pm and once trained the schedule could change to also included weekend and night shifts that would be remote work. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF THIS SCHEDULE DOES NOT WORK FOR YOU.

Required:

Monday-Friday 8am - 4pm in the office

2 years or more working in customer service

Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)

Ability to mult-task (i.e. talk on the phone while navigating on the computer and taking notes)

Have a strong attention to detail

Proficiency with email, microsoft, google and other technology platforms

Fast computer learning abilities and critical thinking skills

Must be able to pass background check

Must be able to lift over 50 pounds

Required:

At least 1-2 years working in customer service

Associates Degree

Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)

Ability to mult-task (i.e. talk on the phone while navigating on the computer and taking notes)

Have a strong attention to detail

Proficiency with email, microsoft, google and other technology platforms

Fast computer learning abilities and critical thinking skills

Must be able to pass background check

Must be able to lift over 50 pounds

Benefits:

Full-time

$22 per hour

15 days per year of Vacation PTO per year

10 days of sick PTO per year
