Job Overview

As an Order Processing Specialist, you’ll support our customer service team by handling the background work that keeps patient orders moving. You’ll manage order schedules, verify insurance, send delivery tickets, track shipments, and help ensure every detail is correct before supplies go out. This is a fast-paced, detail-focused role that plays a key part in helping families receive the care they need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Account Managers by preparing documents and verifying order details
  • Track open orders and coordinate shipments with vendors
  • Verify insurance, pricing, and product accuracy before orders are shipped
  • Send delivery tickets to patients via email or mail
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM system
  • Update patient notes and help resolve account issues
  • Help with scanning, filing, and other administrative tasks
  • Participate in team meetings and stay current on products and procedures
  • Assist with billing and documentation for insurance claims

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required (Associate’s degree preferred)
  • Experience in customer service or healthcare strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with medical supplies, insurance processes, or DME a plus
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Comfortable using CRM and internal systems
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and timelines
  • Detail-oriented and dependable
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and follow compliance standards
  • Willing to learn new systems and processes
