Job Overview:

The Customer Service/Logistics Representative is responsible to partner with the Senior Customer Service Coordinator, the Senior Planner and Sales Representatives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction from quoting to delivery of products in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.

Essential Functions and Tasks:

Maintain current information pertaining to customer profiles in the company database.

Quote pricing for product with consultation and approval of the Sr Planner and others.

Receive and process orders accurately.

Access, source, negotiate and assign transportation providers in the most cost effective manner relative to the requirements of the shipment.

Schedule pick up of outgoing product.

Partner with others to address customer complaints, corrections and change orders as necessary.

Positively respond to and interact with other company personnel, customers and vendors at all times.

Maintain cordial relationships with suppliers, vendors and customers to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.

Skills:

High School diploma with minimum of 3 years experience in a related field (Customer Service, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operational Management);

At least one year experience in Customer Service and/or Logistics; Experience with foreign transactions helpful

Good work ethic; Strong organizational skills (record-keeping, time management, Follow-up)

Possess strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills (both listening and speaking)

Excellent attention to detail and sense of urgency; ability to prioritize with an emphasis on quality of work and efficiency

Self-motivated with a pro-active, accountable approach to tasks

Experience with NetSuite software helpful

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
