Job Summary
White Deer Supply is seeking a dedicated and proactive Customer Service Representative/Procurement Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and our support and sales team, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring their needs are met efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to navigate various systems to procure, sell, and price materials effectively.
Responsibilities:
· New Accounts: Once new business is won, complete account set up in NetSuite.
· Quoting: Provide timely, organized and accurate quotes to customers.
· Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.
· Closing Sales: Secure orders and meet sales targets.
· Order Processing: Process customer orders, track shipments, and manage inventory.
· Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and resolve issues.
· Supplier Research and Evaluation: Identify the most efficient and effective way to leverage existing supplier base to maximize cost savings.
· Purchase Order Management: Create and monitor purchase orders.
· Inventory Management: Ensure adequate stock levels and manage inventory effectively.
· Cost Analysis: Analyze costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
· Project Support: Assist with project-related purchasing needs.
