The Customer Specialist guides customers through AT&T Fiber eligibility, helps them choose phones that maximize network performance, and identifies bundled savings that make upgrading easy all through clear, consultative conversations.

Key Responsibilities of the Customer Specialist

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries with accurate information on AT&T Fiber internet, wireless devices, and bundled service options.
  • Assess household needs and recommend tailored AT&T Fiber packages that maximize speed, reliability, and overall value.
  • Process account setups, activations, upgrades, and plan adjustments while maintaining CRM accuracy and compliance with AT&T Fiber standards.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity and device concerns, clarifying requirements and escalating complex service issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain precise records in CRM systems, tracking enrollments, customer feedback, and retention strategies to support performance goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales and service efforts, uphold AT&T Fiber messaging, and meet campaign benchmarks.

What We’re Looking For in a Customer Specialist

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in customer service or sales within telecommunications, internet services, or subscription‑based industries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain AT&T Fiber solutions, resolve service concerns, and build customer trust.
  • Organized, proactive, and adaptable approach with resilience to excel in fast‑paced service environments.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital tools to manage accounts, track engagement, and ensure compliance with AT&T Fiber standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
