Foodservice Equipment Reports (FER) is a trusted voice in the foodservice industry, providing news, insights, and marketing solutions for manufacturers, dealers, and operators. We are expanding our social media and production team and are looking for a creative, detail-oriented professional to help manage client marketing programs, create compelling content, support event promotion, and drive engagement across multiple digital channels.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a versatile marketing professional who is equally comfortable creating content, managing client relationships, and supporting business growth initiatives. This role combines social media management, graphic design, video production, email marketing, event promotion, and customer success responsibilities. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, client-focused, and able to manage multiple projects while delivering high-quality content and measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with assigned clients to understand their goals, brand voice, target audience, and marketing objectives.
- Develop and implement social media strategies, content calendars, and post schedules for multiple client accounts.
- Create engaging content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Design graphics, advertisements, email campaigns, and other marketing materials for clients and FER initiatives.
- Edit and produce video content including interviews, reels, event highlights, and social media assets.
- Promote FER events including MUFES and How to Spec Live through social media, email campaigns, advertising, and related marketing efforts.
- Coordinate, build, deploy, and troubleshoot e-newsletters and dedicated email campaigns within FER's CRM platform.
- Manage audience segmentation, list management, targeting, and email marketing best practices.
- Monitor social media performance and compile monthly KPI reports with recommendations for optimization.
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and digital marketing best practices.
- Work closely with the sales team on client proposals, new business opportunities, and marketing initiatives.
- Participate in client meetings, strategy discussions, and business development efforts as needed.
- Serve as a digital marketing resource for FER's editors, contributors, and sales team.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.) required.
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands or clients.
- Strong graphic design skills.
- Video editing experience required. Candidates should be comfortable working in Adobe Premiere and understand the fundamentals of video editing.
- Experience with email marketing platforms, newsletter deployment, and basic HTML editing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Knowledge of current trends, tools, and best practices across major social media platforms.
