Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with experience to provide technical support for an oil and gas accounting software company. This role will involve training new customers, assisting existing customers, and testing new software. You will interact with customers via phone, remote login, and email to ensure they are using the software correctly.
Responsibilities
- Software: Become an expert on our software with a solid understanding of common bookkeeping practices.
- Support: Provide support to new and existing software customers
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with the software
- Training: Provide direct training to users on how to use the software
- Collaboration: Work with customers and other teams
- New release testing: Perform software testing on new software releases & report bugs
- Issue reporting: Report issues to the development team
- Help materials: Review and update training materials
Requirements
- Three years experience in accounting, preferably using computerized software like QuickBooks or similar programs.
- If you have a degree related to accounting, business, economics, or finance; bookkeeping experience may not be required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication is needed.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
