Customer Support Representative

Customer Support Representative | Arlington, TX (Salary: Up to $50,000 + OT Eligibility)


Sage Search Partners is seeking a Customer Support Representative for a consumer goods company based in Arlington, TX. This role supports customers across phone and email while coordinating orders, resolving issues, and ensuring a best-in-class service experience.


The ideal candidate will bring 2–5 years of customer support or call-center experience, strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and a proven ability to stay organized, detail-focused, and responsive in a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting retail/wholesale accounts and/or home decor is a plus, and candidates should be comfortable using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint while collaborating across departments and occasionally traveling to a Dallas showroom during market events.


Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, high-touch support to customers via inbound phone conversations, addressing questions and concerns with clarity and urgency.
  • Manage customer communications through email and web inquiries, ensuring timely, accurate follow-up.
  • Enter and maintain customer details and interaction notes in the support system during and after each contact.
  • Assist customers with order placement, updates, and general order support for both new and existing accounts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, including shipping timing, product questions, and service needs.
  • Handle return requests and damage/claims processes, ensuring documentation and resolution are completed smoothly.
  • Conduct outbound customer calls as needed to confirm details, provide updates, or support issue resolution.
  • Support the showroom order desk during market shows when needed.


Client Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in a customer support or call-center setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Proven ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain strong follow-through in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel periodically to the Dallas showroom during market events.
  • Bonus: prior experience supporting retail/wholesale accounts and/or exposure to home decorations or a related industry.
  • Must be able to work fully onsite (Monday through Friday) in Arlington office.
