Job Description
Lakeshore Fiber is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to provide outstanding service to our residential and business customers. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable on the phone, enjoys problem-solving, and can efficiently navigate multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.
You will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting with account questions, service issues, and general support using RingCentral, Sonar, and internal mapping tools.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound customer calls and messages using RingCentral
- Assist with billing, account updates, and service requests in Sonar
- Troubleshoot basic internet and connectivity issues
- Use mapping tools to verify service areas, outages, and installations
- Accurately document customer interactions and resolutions
- Work closely with technical and field teams when escalation is needed
- Provide friendly, professional, and clear customer communication
Qualifications
- Customer service or call center experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable using multiple computer systems at the same time
- Experience with RingCentral, Sonar, or ISP/telecom support is a plus
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow processes
Nice to Have
- ISP, telecom, or utility industry experience
- Basic understanding of internet services (fiber, Wi‑Fi, routers)
- Billing or account support background

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
