Customer Support Specialist – Afternoon & Weekend Shifts

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS – READ BEFORE APPLYING:

• Weekday afternoons: 2–3 shifts per week starting between 3:00–4:30 PM (in-person at our West Babylon office)
• Weekends: MANDATORY rotating shifts (Saturdays 8 AM–2 PM or 2 PM–7 PM, Sundays 8 AM–6 PM)
• Training period: 100% in-person at West Babylon office
• After training: Weekday shifts remain in-person; weekend shifts can be done remotely

Both afternoon weekday AND weekend availability are required. If you cannot commit to both, this position is not the right fit.

The Role

You'll be the first point of contact for customers needing junk removal services. Day to day, that includes:

• Handling inbound calls, texts, emails, and video chats
• Providing accurate quotes and explaining service options
• Scheduling and rescheduling appointments
• Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Maintaining detailed records of all interactions
• Supporting basic sales conversations (comprehensive training provided)

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to West Babylon, NY 11704
• Availability to start weekday shifts between 3:00–4:30 PM
• Availability for rotating weekend shifts within the 8 AM–7 PM window
• Strong phone communication skills and professional demeanor
• Computer proficiency – comfortable with email, scheduling software, and working across multiple systems
• Dependable and punctual
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 or older

Strongly Preferred:

• Previous customer service, call center, or hospitality experience
• Sales or upselling experience
• Solid attendance record in previous positions

Our Business Hours

Monday–Friday: 9 AM – 8 PM Saturday: 8 AM – 7 PM Sunday: 8 AM – 6 PM

Your shifts will fall within these hours, with primary focus on afternoon and weekend coverage.
