Job Summary
We are looking for a Customer Support Technician to provide technical assistance and after-sales support for audio products such as speakers, microphones, amplifiers, soundbars, and professional audio systems. The role involves troubleshooting, customer interaction, and coordination with internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for audio products via phone, email, chat, or on-site
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to sound quality, connectivity, firmware, and hardware
- Handle installation, configuration, and basic commissioning of audio systems
- Assist customers with product setup, usage guidance, and demos
- Maintain and update service tickets, case logs, and resolution reports
- Coordinate with service centers, warehouse, and logistics for replacements or repairs
- Support warranty, RMA, and replacement processes
- Escalate complex technical issues to engineering or product teams
- Ensure adherence to SLA and TAT commitments
- Collect customer feedback and report recurring issues for product improvement
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of audio systems (speakers, microphones, amplifiers, mixers)
- Basic knowledge of analog & digital audio, signal flow, and impedance
- Familiarity with Bluetooth, AUX, USB, HDMI ARC, Wi-Fi audio connectivity
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, CRM tools, and email communication
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Customer-first attitude with patience and professionalism
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience in professional audio / PA systems
- Knowledge of firmware updates and audio calibration
- Experience in call center or field service support
- Exposure to Amazon / e-commerce technical support is a plus
CTC / Salary: As per industry standards
