Customs Paver Laborer

Job Description:

The Pavers Laborer assists with the installation of pavers, retaining walls, and other hardscape features by preparing sites, handling materials, and supporting skilled installers. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy outdoor work and want to grow in the hardscape industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with site preparation including excavation, grading, and compaction.
• Transport and stage pavers, blocks, base material, and tools.
• Use compactors, shovels, rakes, levels, and other hand tools.
• Help lay pavers and install edging, jointing sand, and sealant as directed.
• Cut pavers using saws or splitters under supervision.
• Follow directions from the foreman and skilled installers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work site.
• Assist with cleanup and loading/unloading of tools and materials.

Qualifications:

• OSHA 10
• Prior construction or landscaping experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work daily.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of tools and materials used in hardscape installation.
• Dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
