Detailed Description of Main Activities

We are seeking a highly motivated Cutting & Pre-Assembly Methods Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining production capacities, optimizing machine layouts and material flow, maintaining SAP production data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational excellence.

Capacity Planning & Industrialization

• Determine the required number of cutting and pre-assembly machines based on production demand and capacity requirements.
• Define and optimize the allocation of machines, tooling, and workstations.
• Design and improve manufacturing layouts to ensure efficient production and material flow.
• Conduct capacity studies and identify bottlenecks.

Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement

• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and increase efficiency.
• Support productivity improvement projects and cost reduction initiatives.
• Lead process optimization activities to improve material and information flow.

SAP & Production Data Management

• Maintain SAP manufacturing data, including routing times, Kanban cycles, and other production parameters.

Performance Monitoring

• Monitor and improve key KPIs, including OEE, TEEP, and productivity, through data analysis and corrective actions.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements, IATF 16949 standards, EHS regulations, and 5S practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or related field).
• 1–3 years of experience in Manufacturing, Industrial, Methods, Process, or Production Engineering.
• Knowledge of capacity planning, line balancing, and process optimization.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, VSM).
• Understanding of manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, TEEP, and productivity.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems is preferred.
• Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Self-driven with a high sense of ownership and continuous improvement mindset.
