Description

Import Operations

  • Send arrival notifications to customers.
  • Handle manifest submissions in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Delivery Order (D/O) issuance and release.
  • Conduct regular cargo tracking with BCOs.

Export Operations

  • Issue bookings for export shipments.
  • Release Shipping Orders (S/O).
  • Prepare and share Bill of Lading (B/L) drafts, follow up on corrections, and hand over final originals.
  • Coordinate and circulate weekly vessel schedules to customers and internal teams.
  • Conduct cargo tracking for outbound shipments.

Minimum requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service within shipping lines.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact daily with customers in a professional manner.
  • Solid understanding of import and export procedures, including documentation such as bookings, B/L, S/O & D/O.
  • Alexandria‑based or willing to relocate.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and demonstrate a cross‑functional mindset.
  • Strong sense of ownership, organization, and follow‑through.
