Cyber Security Analyst

Overview

The Cybersecurity Analyst/Specialist supports client cybersecurity program initiatives and activities. This role requires practical hands-on technical experience combined with professionalism and client-facing communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform security assessments, vulnerability reviews, and remediation support
• Assist with endpoint, cloud, identity, and network security initiatives
• Guide security architecture and strategic technology decisions
• Support development of cybersecurity roadmaps aligned to business objectives
• Support documentation, reporting, and technical recommendations
• Collaborate with client IT and operational teams to improve security posture
• Participate in project-based security implementations and assessments

Preferred Qualifications

• 2–7+ years of cybersecurity or IT security experience
• Hands-on experience with security technologies and operational environments
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, cloud security, EDR/XDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, IAM, or networking technology
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Relevant certifications preferred (Security+, CYSA+, SSCP, CISSP, Azure/AWS security certifications, etc.)
• Ability to work independently in a consulting/subcontractor capacity
