Overview
The Cybersecurity Analyst/Specialist supports client cybersecurity program initiatives and activities. This role requires practical hands-on technical experience combined with professionalism and client-facing communication skills.
Key Responsibilities

Perform security assessments, vulnerability reviews, and remediation support

Assist with endpoint, cloud, identity, and network security initiatives

Guide security architecture and strategic technology decisions

Support development of cybersecurity roadmaps aligned to business objectives

Support documentation, reporting, and technical recommendations

Collaborate with client IT and operational teams to improve security posture

Participate in project-based security implementations and assessments
Preferred Qualifications

2–7+ years of cybersecurity or IT security experience

Hands-on experience with security technologies and operational environments

Familiarity with Microsoft 365, cloud security, EDR/XDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, IAM, or networking technology

Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Relevant certifications preferred (Security+, CYSA+, SSCP, CISSP, Azure/AWS security certifications, etc.)

Ability to work independently in a consulting/subcontractor capacity
