Overview:
We seek a highly skilled
Senior Cybersecurity Engineer
with
5+years
of experience, specializing in
Microsoft Azure security
and
US healthcare
industry compliance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in protecting sensitive healthcare data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mitigating cybersecurity threats within cloud environments. This position requires a proactive professional who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain robust security measures tailored to healthcare IT infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement and manage cybersecurity strategies to safeguard healthcare systems and cloud environments.

Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential threats.

Ensure compliance with
HIPAA,
HITECH
, and other US healthcare regulations.

Configure and monitor Azure security tools such as
Azure Security Center
,
Azure Sentinel
, and
Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
.

Implement cloud-native security solutions to protect sensitive healthcare data.
-
Monitor security incidents, analyze threats, and respond effectively to security breaches.

Assist in incident response, including investigation, containment, and recovery.

Collaborate with IT, compliance, and legal teams to align security policies with industry standards.

Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory changes in the healthcare sector.

Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.

Provide security awareness training to internal teams and end-users.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years
of experience in cybersecurity, with at least
2+ years
focused on
Azure security
.

Proficiency in Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure AD.

Strong understanding of network security, identity management, and data protection in cloud environments.

Experience with
SIEM
tools, incident response, and forensic investigations.

Knowledge of US healthcare regulations (e.g.,
HIPAA

HITECH
) and best practices.

Experience in securing healthcare IT systems, including
EHR/EMR
platforms.
