Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Cybersecurity & Risk Management
- Monitor, analyze, and improve the organization’s overall security posture
- Detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents and threats
- Implement and maintain security best practices, policies, and procedures
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts
- Manage endpoint security solutions, MFA, and access controls
- Perform system hardening and ensure secure configurations across environments
- Support audits, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards
IT Infrastructure & Operations
- Maintain servers, networks, endpoints, and core infrastructure systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues across the organization
- Assist with system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management
- Collaborate with vendors for system support, procurement, and implementation
Documentation & Collaboration
- Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and policies
- Work closely with IT staff and leadership to align security with business needs
- Provide guidance and training to staff on security awareness and best practices
- All other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Experience in cybersecurity practices such as incident response, vulnerability management, and system hardening
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments (Microsoft 365, Active Directory)
- Familiarity with network and endpoint security tools
- Solid understanding of general IT infrastructure (servers, networking, endpoints)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a small team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred:
- Experience in regulated industries (gaming, casino, or similar environments)
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks and audit processes
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CEH, or similar)
Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Preferred Certifications (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe):

CompTIA Security+
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Microsoft security or systems certifications (e.g., Azure Security Engineer, Microsoft 365 Security Administrator)
