At CNTXT , we are leading the digital transformation and cloud revolution in Saudi Arabia. We are looking for an ambitious Cybersecurity Engineer to support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of security controls protecting our cloud environments, applications, and data.

Working closely with our seasoned security team, you will help ensure our systems are secure by design, continuously monitor threats, and maintain strict compliance with local and international regulatory frameworks.

What You’ll Do (Principal Duties):

• Activate Security Control s: Deploy, configure, and manage critical security technologies, including firewalls, endpoint protection (EDR), and identity management systems
• Threat Monitoring & Triag e: deploy security monitoring solutions and monitor continuous security logs and alerts using SIEM and EDR solutions. You will analyze anomalies, escalate potential threats, and assist in incident response and evidence collection
• Vulnerability Trackin g: Run regular vulnerability scans, help prioritize risks based on business impact, and track technical remediations with system owners within defined SLAs
• Access Control Administratio n: Manage day-to-day user access rights across cloud workloads and applications, enforcing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and the principle of least privilege
• DevSecOps Collaboratio n: Work alongside IT, product development, and delivery teams to help embed secure-by-design standards into the infrastructure lifecycles
• GRC Documentatio n: Help develop and maintain clear operational security procedures, compiling documentation and evidence for compliance audits

Who You Are (Qualification Requirements):

• The Experien c e: 0–2 ye ars of experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations (SOC), or security administration. Highly competitive internships or academic projects in cloud defense are a plus
• Technical Exposu re: Baseline exposure implementing security controls across networks, operating systems, and public cloud environments (preferably GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Framework Awarene ss: Foundational familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards, such as t he NCA (ECC), NDMO, ISO 27001, and NIST
• Educational Foundati on: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Language Maste ry: Full verbal and written fluency in bo th Arabic & Engl ish is mandato ry.

Certifications (Preferred or In-Progress ):

Holding or actively pursuing any of the following foundational credentials is a distinct advantage

• Comp TIA Security+
• (IS C)² Certified in Cybersecurity
• Google Cloud Digital Le ade r / Associate Cloud Engineer
• Certified Ethical Hacker

Core Competencies:

• Value Threat Detection Insti ncts: A basic understanding of log management platforms, system hardening best practices, and containerized workloads (Kubernetes/GCP)
• Analytical Mindset : The ability to interpret technical vulnerability reports and map basic security controls to strict compliance guidelines
