Cyber Security Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CyberSecurity Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's information systems from cyber threats and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data. You will work closely with various teams to implement security measures and respond to security incidents while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Duties

• Design and implement security solutions for cloud infrastructure and on-premises systems.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential threats.
• Manage identity access management systems to ensure appropriate access controls are in place.
• Collaborate with IT teams to establish load balancing strategies and optimize system performance.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Stay updated on the latest threat intelligence and cybersecurity trends to proactively address emerging risks.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards and other relevant regulations such as COBIT.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cybersecurity roles with a strong understanding of routing protocols and network security principles.
• Proficiency in Windows operating systems and familiarity with SSH for secure communications.
• Experience with identity access management tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks and methodologies.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information clearly.
