Cyber Security Specialist

Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist (2 Years Experience)

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Cyber Security Specialist to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in information security, threat management, and network protection. You will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, monitoring for security breaches, and implementing best practices to safeguard company data and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze network traffic for suspicious activity and potential threats.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests.
• Implement and maintain firewalls, antivirus systems, and intrusion detection tools.
• Manage security incidents and coordinate responses to mitigate cyber threats.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends, tools, and attack vectors.
• Develop and enforce IT security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Train staff on cyber security awareness and data protection practices.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure security compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in cyber/information security roles.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and system hardening.
• Experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP) will be a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs125,000.00 per month
