Cyber Security Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity measures that protect our organization and training systems from digital threats. You’ll also contribute to developing and teaching cybersecurity modules to students and professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and respond to incidents.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability tests, and penetration testing.
• Implement firewalls, antivirus software, and data encryption programs.
• Develop cybersecurity awareness programs and deliver related training sessions.
• Assist in curriculum development for cybersecurity courses.
• Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, trends, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security.
• Certifications preferred: CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, and ethical hacking tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
