In this vital role, you will be responsible for protecting our company's systems, data, and digital assets from a wide range of cyber threats. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity and availability of our platform, which empowers millions of users to manage their home investments effectively.

Responsibilities
- Actively monitor our network and systems for security threats and vulnerabilities using advanced security tools.
- Analyse and respond to security alerts and incidents in a timely and effective manner, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify security weaknesses and recommend remediation strategies.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures across the organisation.
- Collaborate closely with IT and development teams to ensure security best practices are integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously enhance our security posture.
- Prepare and present clear and concise security reports for management and technical teams.
- Contribute to security awareness training and activities to foster a security-conscious culture within the company.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in a cybersecurity role, such as a security analyst or engineer.
- Strong knowledge of security principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and vulnerability scanning tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning in the cybersecurity domain.

Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM.
- Experience with cloud security, particularly in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
- Familiarity with data protection regulations and standards.
- Scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automating security tasks.
