Accelera Solutions provides engineering support on an enterprise-class IT program for a Department of Defense (DoD) customer providing global healthcare support operations. The solution comprises Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Database as a Service (DBaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions for customer components in environments with RMF-based ATO.
As a member of this team, a Cybersecurity Analyst works with the engineering team to ensure the systems are compliant with all relevant cybersecurity regulations. The successful candidate will have solid understanding, appropriate certification, and hands-on experience with cybersecurity protocols in an enterprise-level, cloud-based Windows environment. Additionally, because the work is performed by a large and distributed team, the candidate must have proven experience working both independently and within dynamic teams. Specifically, tasks in the position include:
Perform all security related tasks for BOMGAR, Global Service Center (GSC) web portal (and/or other IT systems as assigned).- Maintain all eMASS related documents for Risk Management Framework (RMF) accreditation packages for relevant systems.
- Initiate all Risk Assessment required documents to include Security Assessment Plan (SAP), hardware/software list, PPSM modifications, and STIG requirements to eMASS.
- Review all ACAS scan results and work with systems engineers to remediate findings.
- Provide Cyber SME assistance and guidance to relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in eMASS systems Annual Reviews, IV&V and any other Cyber taskings.
- Maintain awareness on DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and provide updates as needed to System Administrators, Engineers, and stakeholders.
- Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.
- Work with System Administrators and Engineers on the management of access control systems and enforce least privilege principles to protect sensitive information.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and deploy secure network architectures, systems, and applications.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices to continuously improve DHA security posture.
- Maintain all required STIG checklists for responsible systems.
- Attend all required weekly meetings as needed.
Required Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ Federal experience. Military experience counts if in related field- Minimum 5 years’ virtualization (VMware/Citrix/Microsoft) experience
- Must have an active DOD Secret (or above) security clearance
- Hands-on experience with EMASS Analyst administration
- Hands-on experience with ACAS scanning and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with core DoD cyber tools and systems such as eMASS, ACAS, DISA STIGs
- Experience completing a formal authorization to operate (ATO) process, to include documenting RMF control compliance and participating in third-party audits (IV&V)

Desired Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.- Experience with STIG Viewer, Vulnerator, BASS, and PCAT
- Experience with application troubleshooting and solutions engineering.
- Knowledge of networking, routers, firewalls, V-LANs, and network troubleshooting tools.
- Experience with other DOD applications systems and environments.
- Experience collaborating effectively with a large number of teams, internally and externally.
- Strong written communication skills.
