Cybersecurity Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Karachi back office, supporting the Dubai HQ team. The role works directly with our Marketing Manager and digital team to own and drive the cybersecurity strategy across our financial services and real estate brands. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced security professional to lead end-to-end website and infrastructure security efforts and protect digital assets within a fast-paced financial services firm.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall cybersecurity strategy across multiple websites and digital assets
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, threat analysis, and identify security risks
• Lead web application security, network security, and infrastructure security (firewalls, WAFs, IDS/IPS)
• Run technical security audits and coordinate with developers to resolve vulnerabilities
• Build and manage incident response, threat monitoring, and remediation processes
• Plan and guide secure development practices in collaboration with IT and development teams
• Track, analyze, and report on security events, incidents, and compliance using SIEM and monitoring tools
• Monitor emerging threats, CVEs, and security trends, adjusting strategy accordingly
• Manage SSL certificates, DNS security, access controls, and endpoint protection
• Prepare clean, well-formatted security reports and incident logs for management review
• Coordinate with the Dubai HQ team on strategy, reporting, and follow-ups
• Support the Marketing Manager with ad-hoc tasks, security analysis, and risk assessments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 2–4 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with a proven track record of protecting web assets and infrastructure
• Strong command of web application security (OWASP Top 10) and how it affects business operations
• Proficiency with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, Nessus, Metasploit, and SIEM platforms
• Solid understanding of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection best practices
• Experience with incident response and vulnerability management
• Basic understanding of financial markets, real estate, or B2B sectors
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into action
• Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and CMS platforms (WordPress or similar)
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with a remote team, and meet deadlines
• Ability to handle confidential business data with integrity
