The Analyst III serves as a senior analytical professional supporting complex national security, defense, security, intelligence, and program protection missions. This position applies advanced analytical methodologies, tools, and processes to evaluate complex issues, develop recommendations, support strategic decision-making, and provide technical and operational insight to government and program leadership.
The Analyst III independently performs research, analysis, and assessment activities; develops analytical products and briefings; leads assigned analytical efforts; and provides guidance to junior analysts and project teams. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders in dynamic and highly sensitive environments.
Position supports a long-term Federal IT and Cybersecurity Services effort.

Conduct advanced research, analysis, and assessment activities in support of mission, program, operational, and strategic objectives.

Evaluate complex issues, risks, vulnerabilities, trends, and requirements using established and emerging analytical methodologies.

Develop analytical tools, processes, methodologies, and techniques to improve mission effectiveness and operational efficiency.

Prepare and deliver highquality reports, white papers, briefings, memoranda, assessments, and recommendations for leadership decisionmaking.

Analyze policies, directives, regulations, procedures, and operational requirements to identify impacts and recommend solutions.

Lead analytical projects, studies, working groups, and task teams in support of organizational objectives.

Coordinate with government personnel, stakeholders, and crossfunctional teams to collect information, resolve issues, and achieve mission outcomes.

Develop metrics, dashboards, trend analyses, and performance assessments to support program execution and reporting requirements.

Review and validate analytical products developed by junior personnel for quality, accuracy, and completeness.

Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and subject matter support to less experienced analysts.

Support strategic planning, program assessments, process improvement initiatives, and organizational reviews.

Track action items, milestones, deliverables, and program activities to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, customers, and stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with applicable security, regulatory, and organizational requirements.

Minimum of seven (7) years of experience supporting Department of Defense, federal government, national security, intelligence, security, program management, engineering, acquisition, or related mission environments.

Demonstrated experience conducting complex analytical studies, assessments, evaluations, or program support activities.

Experience developing analytical methodologies, tools, processes, and recommendations to address operational or organizational challenges.

Experience preparing and presenting reports, briefings, executive summaries, and analytical products for senior leadership.

Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines.

Experience leading projects, task teams, working groups, or small analytical teams.

Strong critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problemsolving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and collaboration tools.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Security Studies, Intelligence, Criminal Justice, Political Science, International Relations, Business Administration, Public Administration, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.
