Cybersecurity Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to spearhead our security initiatives, build our Cybersecurity team from the ground up, and lead our Cyber Security vertical. This is a senior, permanent position designed for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in large-scale security transformations.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Security Leadership

• Architect, implement, and oversee enterprise-wide security frameworks across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Lead secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices, conduct threat modeling, application security reviews, and implement Web Application Firewalls (WAFs) such as F5 ASM.
• Drive DevSecOps automation initiatives, including compliance automation, vulnerability management, and secure infrastructure provisioning.

Cybersecurity Vertical Ownership

• Establish and expand the Cybersecurity team at FineLogic, defining processes, frameworks, and best practices.
• Serve as the head of the Cybersecurity vertical, responsible for strategy, execution, and reporting to executive leadership.
• Cultivate a strong pipeline of security talent and mentor engineers to foster maturity in security operations.

Risk Management & Compliance

• Collaborate with leadership to balance business objectives with security risk management, translating technical risks into strategic decisions.
• Enhance security policies, procedures, and audit readiness continuously.

Cybersecurity Operations & Incident Response

• Coordinate with teams to detect, investigate, and remediate security threats.
• Develop and refine incident response playbooks to strengthen containment, recovery, and resilience.
• Implement proactive monitoring and security automation to minimize exposure to threats.

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Partner with cross-functional teams including development and infrastructure to embed security best practices.
• Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to engineers and stakeholders on emerging threats, secure coding practices, and compliance.
• Lead security awareness, training, and documentation initiatives to foster a security-conscious culture across FineLogic.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering.
• Over 3-4 years of proven cybersecurity experience in cloud security, DevSecOps, application security, and compliance.
• Industry certifications such as ISC2 CCSP, AWS Solutions Architect (Pro), Azure Security Engineer, CEH Master, Google Cloud Architect, ITIL.
• Hands-on expertise in:
• AWS/Azure security services, IAM, Terraform, Okta/AD, CI/CD pipelines.
• Secure network design including VPCs, firewalls, and WAFs.
• Application and product security reviews.
• Security automation and compliance monitoring tools.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
