Cybersecurity Intern

Join us at an exciting early stage and help shape the security engine of a rapidly scalable SaaS platform!

What you will do

• Assist in building and testing the security checklist automation workflows (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Contribute to writing basic threat models, risk summaries, and checklists for startups.
• Research and draft playbooks for compliance (e.g., third-party vendor security, employee onboarding).
• Assist in evaluating and integrating open-source scanning tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Nikto).
• Help with manual penetration testing tasks and bug bounty analysis (if interested).
• Work with product and tech leads to ensure our MVP follows industry best practices.
• Optional: Contribute to basic frontend/backend development or documentation if interested in full-stack security.

You're a Good Fit If You:

• Are pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or InfoSec.
• Understand OWASP Top 10, basic network security concepts, and vulnerability scanning.
• Have worked with or explored tools like Burp Suite, Nessus, ZAP, or Wireshark.
• Are curious about startup security, B2B SaaS, and automated compliance.
• Can work independently and communicate proactively.

Bonus Points For:

• Having certifications like CEH, CompTIA Security+, or Google Cybersecurity Cert.
• Interest in DevSecOps, API security, or compliance automation.
• Past work on bug bounty platforms like HackerOne or Bugcrowd.
• Familiarity with Git, Notion, Figma, or low-code automation tools.
