Cybersecurity Network Analyst - IS

The Network Cybersecurity Administrator is responsible for the strategic design, maintenance, and monitoring of enterprise security infrastructure, balancing operational stability with proactive security measures to protect network perimeters and core applications. This role serves as an administrator for firewall infrastructure, load balancers, and multi-factor authentication (MFA), ensuring application resilience and secure traffic flow while maintaining baseline security controls within the Active Directory (AD) environment. The administrator independently manages the configuration and lifecycle of firewall and edge solutions, including software-defined networking, edge gateway management, and the resolution of complex connectivity or hardware performance issues.

A significant focus of this position is the execution of critical threat mitigation strategies to proactively detect, contain, and eradicate malicious activity—such as ransomware, lateral movement, or unauthorized access—using advanced judgment to implement security measures based on vendor best practices and industry standards. Additionally, the administrator leads the patching and vulnerability management lifecycle, ensuring that network appliances and associated systems remain resilient against known exploits through the consistent evaluation and deployment of security updates.

Education: Bachelors: degree in computer science ot related field or equivalent experience

Experience Requirements: 3-5 years experience in the operations of a company’s internal data communications systems, including LANs and/or WANs.



Location: Cookeville Regional Medical Center · Information Systems
Schedule: Full Time, Days, M-F 8-5 Need to be available for afterhours oncall.
