Cybersecurity Trainer

We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Cybersecurity Trainer to join our team.

Position Summary

The Cybersecurity Trainer will be responsible for delivering instructor-led training on cybersecurity fundamentals, defensive and offensive security techniques, and certification preparation. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong technical expertise and a passion for teaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver live (virtual or in-person) cybersecurity training sessions to students and professionals.
• Teach courses such as Security+, Network+, CEH, Penetration Testing, SOC operations, incident response, and other related topics (customizable based on your needs).
• Create, update, and maintain training materials, labs, and assessments.
• Support learners through Q&A, hands-on exercises, and mentoring.
• Provide guidance and preparation for certification exams.
• Stay current with cybersecurity trends, tools, and best practices.
• Assist in curriculum development and continuous improvement of training programs.

Qualifications

Required:

• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related technical roles.
• Strong understanding of topics such as networking, threat detection, security operations, ethical hacking, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and teaching skills.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts for learners of all backgrounds.

Preferred:

• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, Network+, CEH, CISSP, or similar.
• Experience teaching or mentoring in a classroom or corporate training environment.
• Familiarity with hands-on lab platforms (e.g., TryHackMe, Hack The Box, Cyber Range environments).
• Curriculum design or instructional design experience.
