Cycle Counter

Position: Cycle Counter

Location: St Charles MO

As a Cycle Counter, you will play a key role in ensuring inventory accuracy through scheduled counts, investigations, and inventory reconciliation. You’ll work within a designated zone to verify that all product information and quantities match system records, helping to maintain the integrity of the warehouse management system (WMS).

• Conduct weekly cycle counts of assigned inventory zones.
• Physically verify inventory by visiting locations and comparing quantities and data to WMS records.
• Ensure all items have correct labeling, including barcodes, part numbers, and locations. Correct any discrepancies found.
• Use hand counts or scales to verify item quantities.
• Investigate and resolve inventory variances, and update records as needed.
• Report any defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisors or managers.
• Support and participate in scheduled physical inventories.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Perform all required computer functions related to inventory and reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of experience as a cycle counter
• 1+ year working in a warehouse environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb and work from ladders
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry inventory parts weighing 10–50 lbs
