Professional Daily Dog Walker & Pet Sitter

Waikiki Pet Pals is a professional dog walking and pet sitting business, primarily serving families in Honolulu. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, knowledgeable, and compassionate Part-time Daily Dog Walker & Pet Sitter: with 9am-4pm M-F availability to join our growing team.

This position is in Honolulu (Pali to Hawaii Kai) and is ideal for: an animal care/veterinary professional, college student, working professional, or stay at home/single parent, looking to supplement their income.

The visits for this position are primarily 30-60 minutes on the weekdays.

We currently need an experienced daily dog walker and pet sitter to help cover consistent walks; with occasional availability for other pet care opportunities (including: morning and evening kitty care visits, weekend dog walking, and some additional in-home pet sitting).

To be considered for this positions applicant must:

Love Animals!! Be good/skilled with animals

Have knowledge/experience working with animals in a professional setting (Preferred: Pre Vet, Tech, Assistant, Training, CSR, or Kennel Assistant).

Have a valid drivers license and reliable/insured vehicle for transportation with availability 9am-4pm M-F; with occasional evening & weekend availability.

Have a basic understanding of the body language or animals and be comfortable/competent working with reactive dogs.

Be willing and able to make a minimum one year commitment.

Be 18 years of age or older and pass a criminal background check.

Be able to stand/walk for more than 60 minutes. Lift up to 50lbs without assistance.

Communicate with owner and pet parents/clients on a daily basis (via mobile app).

Perks:

Pay starting at $15.00 for each 30 minute visit, and $25.00 per hour visit

Additional holiday compensation starting at 10.00 per visit, and you keep all tips!

Approximately $250-450 weekly
