Dance Instructor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Dance Instructor to inspire students of all ages and skill levels through the art of dance. In this role, you will design engaging lesson plans, teach various dance styles, and foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and physical development. Responsibilities

• Teach group classes, ensuring clear instruction and active engagement for students ranging from 5-17 years old.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, creating a safe, inclusive, and motivating atmosphere that promotes respect and enthusiasm for dance.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their technical skills, artistic expression, and personal confidence.
• Organize performances or showcases to celebrate student achievements and foster community spirit.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, or other educators to monitor student progress and address individual needs or special education considerations.

Skills

• Expertise in multiple dance styles including ballet, theater dance, and contemporary movement.
• Proven classroom management skills with the ability to motivate diverse learners effectively.
• Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings.
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, and team members; experience in tutoring or special education is a plus.
