Responsibilities

• Lead energetic and motivating dance classes, ensuring all students are engaged and encouraged to participate actively.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and clear expectations, creating a safe and inclusive environment for all learners.
• Adapt lesson plans as needed to accommodate students with special education needs or early childhood development requirements.
• Provide individualized tutoring or coaching sessions to support students’ progress in dancing techniques or theatrical performance skills.
• Organize recital routines that allow students to demonstrate their skills confidently in front of an audience.
• Maintain detailed records of attendance, progress, and behavioral notes to monitor student development over time.
• Stay current with trends in dance education by participating in workshops related to childhood development, preschool activities.

Experience

• Proven experience teaching dance classes across diverse age groups, including children in preschool or early childhood education settings.
• Strong background in curriculum development for dance or theater arts; familiarity with lesson planning tailored for different learning styles.
• Demonstrated classroom management skills that promote discipline while fostering a fun and motivating atmosphere.
• Experience working with students who have special needs or require accommodations within an educational setting.
• Knowledge of ballet techniques along with other dance styles.
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies that support positive childhood development and early childhood education principles.
