Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Dance Instructor to join our team and teach children’s dance classes in schools and childcare centers across our local territory — spanning from Port St. Lucie to West Palm Beach. Ideal candidates are passionate about working with children, confident in leading classes, and thrive in a fun, energetic environment.

You’ll be responsible for leading classes using our set curriculum, developing positive relationships with students and school staff, and working closely with the Franchise Owner and School Directors to grow class participation. This role requires professionalism, strong communication, and a genuine love for what we do.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and prepare lesson plans before each class

- Teach engaging, upbeat classes that follow the Tippi Toes curriculum and music playlists

- Arrive on time in proper dress code and allow time for setup

- Create a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes participation and fun

- Build and maintain strong relationships with school staff and communicate regularly

- Support student enrollment and class growth in collaboration with the Franchise Owner

- Communicate consistently with the Franchise Owner regarding student progress and class updates

- Collaborate and share ideas with fellow instructors to enhance the team environment

Qualifications

- Passion for working with children and a love of dance

- Experience teaching or working with children is highly preferred

- Outgoing, enthusiastic, and confident in leading a group

- Open to feedback and always looking to improve

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- High energy, self-motivated, and reliable

- Background in dance, theatre, cheer, or performing arts is a plus

- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Willing to travel for classes from Port St. Lucie to West Palm Beach

- Requires weekday availability between 2 PM and 5 PM

- Must be willing to undergo a background check
