Dance Teacher

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Dance Teacher who can inspire and train students in various dance forms. The ideal candidate should be creative, and able to engage students in both technical training and performance preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Teach a variety of dance styles (Classical, Folk, Western, Contemporary, etc.) based on the curriculum.
• Design choreography for school functions, assemblies, annual day, and inter-school competitions.
• Plan and deliver structured, age-appropriate dance lessons.
• Organize rehearsals and prepare students for stage performances.
• Evaluate student progress, provide feedback, and encourage improvement.
• Maintain class discipline, attendance, and performance records.
• Foster creativity, teamwork, and confidence in students through dance.
• Stay updated on new dance trends, teaching techniques, and performance practices.
• Ensure safety of students during practice and performances.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Performing Arts (Dance) or equivalent certification.
• Prior teaching or professional dance experience preferred.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for dance and ability to motivate students.
