Job Title: Dance Teacher

Job Summary

The Dance Teacher is responsible for planning, instructing, and coordinating dance lessons for students. The role includes teaching various dance forms, preparing students for performances, conducting practice sessions, and promoting creativity, discipline, and confidence among learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach dance to students in line with the school’s curriculum and activity schedule.
• Instruct students in various dance forms (Classical, Contemporary, Folk, Hip-Hop, etc. as per requirement).
• Develop age-appropriate lesson plans and practice routines.
• Prepare students for annual functions, competitions, cultural events, and stage performances.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress.
• Maintain discipline and ensure safety during classes and practice sessions.
• Coordinate costume, music, and props required for performances.
• Collaborate with teachers and management for planning events and activities.
• Motivate students to participate actively and improve their skills.
• Maintain attendance records and submit reports as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Dance / Performing Arts (preferred).
• Professional training in one or more dance forms.
• Previous teaching or stage performance experience.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Creativity, patience, and passion for teaching students.
• Ability to choreograph performances for different events.

Work Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching or performance experience (optional as per institution).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
