Dance Teacher

Educational Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in dance (e.g., Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Contemporary, Ballet, Hip-hop, etc.)
• Degree or diploma in Dance / Performing Arts (preferred for schools and colleges)
• Teacher training certification (required in many schools)

Professional Skills

• Strong command over one or more dance styles
• Ability to choreograph routines for different age groups
• Knowledge of rhythm, music, and body movement
• Classroom management and student engagement skills
• Creativity and stage presentation skills

Experience

• Prior teaching experience (often preferred)
• Performance experience (stage shows, competitions, events)
• Experience working with children or students (for schools)

Personal Qualities

• Patience and enthusiasm
• Good communication skills
• Physical fitness and stamina
• Passion for teaching and dance

Additional Requirements (sometimes)

• Basic knowledge of music theory
• Ability to prepare students for performances and competitions
• Willingness to participate in school/cultural events

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
