Dance Teacher

**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Dance Instructor to join our team for the fall school year. The individual must be available from 2:00 to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday from mid-October to mid-April. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching dance to students of all ages and skill levels. This role is perfect for a dedicated and experienced educator who is eager to inspire and nurture young minds through the art of dance.

**Responsibilities**

- Develop and teach dance classes to students of various ages and skill levels, including preschool and school age groups.

- Create and implement engaging and educational dance lessons that cater to individual students' needs and learning styles.

- Utilize a range of dance techniques, including ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop, to provide a well-rounded dance education.

- Provide individualized tutoring and feedback to students to help them improve their dance skills.

- Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to develop and refine dance programs.

- Participate in school recitals, and other events as required.

- Develop and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with students, parents, and colleagues.

**Qualifications**

- Experience teaching dance classes to students of various ages and skill levels.

- Proven ability to develop engaging and educational dance lessons.

- Strong classroom management skills.

- Familiarity with theater and performance settings.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- A passion for dance and a commitment to educating and nurturing students.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
