Dance Teacher / Dance Instructor

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Teacher to instruct students in dance techniques, choreography, and performance. The ideal candidate will inspire creativity, build confidence, and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach dance classes (e.g., hip-hop, ballet, contemporary, jazz, or cultural styles)
• Plan and deliver structured lessons appropriate to students’ age and ability
• Create and teach choreography for classes, performances, or competitions
• Demonstrate proper technique, rhythm, and movement
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Ensure student safety and follow studio/school guidelines
• Prepare students for recitals, exams, or performances
• Maintain attendance and basic class records
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, and staff

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dance teacher or performer
• Strong knowledge of at least one dance style
• Ability to work with children and/or teenagers
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Physical ability to demonstrate dance movements

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in dance
• Teaching experience in a school or dance studio
• Choreography and performance experience
• First aid or child-safety training (if working with minors)

Pay: ₹11,196.07 - ₹120,000.00 per month
