Daniel K. Inoue Airport Customer Service Supervisor(Japanese-English Bilingual, Full-Time)

■Description/業務内容

The Airport Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for various tasks to support customers in having the best stay possible in Hawaii. This person will report to managers who have their backs and support their tasks, actively participate as a guest relations coordinator, lead a leadership role, and train existing and new coordinators, and monitor how we can improve our work and suggest it to managers. Some office support includes inventory tracking, purchase requests, and ensuring the team can work in a tidy, clean environment.

Essential Duties:

  • Performs training and on-boarding of new and transfer staff
  • Ensures adequate staffing levels
  • Assesses guest issues and works to improve overall process and procedures as seen fit
  • Makes suggestions on improving processes and increasing sales
  • Rectifies minor issues by analyzing the situation and putting out fires
  • Reports major issues to management to resolve and assists management to develop methods to avoid issues of the same nature in the future
  • Performs general clerical duties
  • Organizes and coordinates necessary supplies
  • Maintain good communication and work relationships inter-departmentally
  • Always be aware of the staff's situation and respond promptly.
  • Keep update the inventory and log for the lounge stock including liquor is up to date.
  • Being a signatory of the airport badge and make sure to be in compliant.
  • Other duties the company assigns

■Hours/勤務時間

【フルタイム】

・土日祝日を含む週5日出勤、1日8時間勤務(+昼食休憩1時間)

■Work Conditions

  • Indoors under regular office/lounge conditions; outdoors in all types of weather.
  • Shifts schedule, including Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
  • Requires considerable walking and standing for the arrival duties.
  • Occasionally early morning shifts are scheduled.

■Requirements/応募資格

  • 10 years in customer relations supervisory positions
  • Customer oriented, professional, and able to respond/decide quickly
  • Act in accordance with the company’s wishes.
  • Able to lift up to 30 lb
  • Background check necessary for obtaining airport badges.
  • Team player
  • Bilingual both Japanese and English preferred

Pay: $23.24 - $34.85 per hour
